About Robert

Rob was inspired to begin his Anti-Bullying work after experiencing bullying himself at school. The destructive nature of these experiences motivated him to establish his own company - 'Robert Higgs Anti-Bullying Presentations' - to provide drama presentations and workshops to empower young people and adults to tackle bullying.

Rob is now:

  • The author of two published books and eight plays on Bullying
  • Rob has accumulated a decade of experience of working with schools, colleges, universities, local authorities and corporations throughout the UK
  • Rob has served as an Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator with responsibility to assist the implementation of 'Anti-Bullying Strategy' at Local Authority Level
  • Rob is a core member of ABA [The Anti-Bullying Alliance]

Robert Higgs provides Anti-Bullying workshops and drama presentations to schools and local education authorities nationally. Robert began his work after experiencing bullying himself at school. He is now the author of two books on bullying - What Have I Ever Done To You? and Matty Doyle's Monster and has spoken about his experiences in various media, including Radio 1 and 2, Sky News, BBC Breakfast, BBC 7 and Martial Arts Illustrated.

Robert's powerful, emotive and inspiring work has been incredibly well received nationally. In Primary and Secondary schools his drama presentations and workshops have proved a highly effective addition to each school's PSHE program, Peer Mentoring Scheme and Anti-Bullying Week activities. Robert has written several plays on bullying and has worked with groups of young people to rehearse and stage each production within schools or at showcase events.

Robert also provides an Anti-Bullying Practitioner's Course to Local Education Authorities and contributes regularly to Anti-Bullying events and conferences as a keynote speaker/performer.
